“ During recent trip of overseas family friend, the lunch destination was "The Teahouse in Stanley Park." Always a favourite, the scenic elevated location at the most westerly point of Stanley Park is pretty much matchless in Vancouver for views of water, mountains and forested natural splendor. The restaurant structure itself is also definitely historic -- the last vestige of Ferguson Point military base and emplacements from WW1 WW2 -- and was District Commander's residence Officers' Mess. The refined restored interior and exterior exude this history. The front area of the Teahouse property includes a raised covered patio area, as well as an amazing landscaped garden just beyond the green hedges and entrance gate. It's also a very popular destination for private functions; the glass Conservatory, in Summertime, is a special favourite for wedding receptions. Hardly surprising given the perfect surroundings for such a memorable day! We encountered this fact ourselves at midday on a Wednesday. The restaurant was fully reserved packed, as the Conservatory area had been set-aside for a reception. So always a safe move to call in advance for reservations! Many thanks to the very polite and welcoming staff who made space for us with a front window table. The Teahouse cuisine is especially centred on seafood and Westcoast Canadian staples. Think salmon, cod, steak, rack of lamb, many soups salads, eggs benedict, etc. It is also a popular spot for Sunday brunch cocktails. So if you're looking for a memorable restaurant - event venue with delicious menu offerings for brunch, lunch, dinner or drinks, "The Teahouse at Ferguson Point" should definitely be on your shortlist. ”

“ My experience at this wonderful restaurant could not have been better. Our waiter, John, gave us a detailed history of the building, witty banter and excellent food recommendations. The fish and chips are, as he said, the best in Vancouver. My friend enjoyed an excellent vegan Teahouse Bowl and we had Edamame Hummus for the table. Will recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Stanley Park. ”

“ We recently enjoyed lunch at the Tea Room. It was pouring rain but that only made the restaurant more inviting and cozy. Our lunch was so good. Delicious and fresh Cobb salad with everything prepared beautifully, fresh avocado, a perfect egg and a beautiful dressing. My daughter had smoked salmon flatbread and it was so unique and yummy. We shared sides of crispy tofu and roasted potatoes. Equally as tasty and beautifully done. The dining area is gorgeous. Lots of cozy seating. The conservatory glassed in area was hosting a wedding and it looked magical in there. The best part of our meal was the exceptionally welcome service. Our waiter Srdan was just the nicest and most professional. He was so sweet. He made our time at the Tearoom one we will never forget. Thank you!!! Best server ever!!! ”

Dishes are beautifully presented and simply delicious. Most dishes are in the 25-35 range, with seafood and steak obviously on the higher end of the spectrum. Highly recommend this place for special occasions, without breaking the bank too much. The location, view, service, and service is definitely worth what you pay. ”
